Crisis Stabilization Bed Program
The Crisis Stabilization Bed service is intended to assist individuals to remain in their community and divert unnecessary hospitalizations.
The service is:
- a brief reprieve in a safe and secure environment
- staffed 24/7 by Mental Health Workers
- accessible to men or women 16 years of age and older who have been assessed as medically stable and not a safety risk to themselves or others
- available for a maximum 3-5 day accommodation
- in partnership with CAST (Crisis Assessment and Support Team) program of Haldimand and Norfolk
Intakes will be assessed Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm.

On-site and follow-up services include:
- Supportive counselling
- Scheduled on-site nursing services
- Case Management support
- Effective referral to other community services
- Relapse prevention planning
- Follow-up services
