Mental health promotion and education includes:

  • Speakers Bureau related to various mental health issues
  • Seminars & workhops on Stress Management
  • ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training)
  • Support groups
  • Promotion & advocacy
  • Forums & education responding to community needs
  • Workplace Wellness ("Mental Health Works")

There are several activities - you can join one, or join them all!

  • Relaxation Group
  • Walking Group
  • Healthy Lifestyle Program - an 8 week course that's sure to motivate you to a healthier lifestyle!

There is no charge to be involved with the Relaxation Group and the Healthy Lifestyle Program. During winter months, there may be a minimal charge ($1 per visit) to cover the cost of an indoor facility for the Walking Group

Next 8 week Healthy Communities Program to start in September.
